David is also a Chartered Tax Adviser (UK) and an Attorney (Johannesburg, South Africa). David Anderson was admitted as a solicitor in 1985. He is a co-founder of Sykes Anderson.
Alan’s family originated from the Belgian town of Massenhoven (near Antwerp) and now live in Ostend.
His wide range of knowledge and expertise ensures that he can undertake most business related legal work. He has particular experience in share and business sales and purchases, MBOs, corporate restructuring, lending and security, partnership, tenders, franchises, T&Cs and contract negotiation and drafting.
His work in the employment field means that he is able to advise on most aspects of secondment of personnel between the UK and Belgium.
Nicole is a dual Belgian and British citizen. Born and educated in Belgium, Nicole has pursued her university and professional studies in both France and the UK.
Nicole deals with property and private client issues in the UK and other jurisdictions. She has extensive experience of dealing with legal (and other) professionals in Belgium.
Nicole enjoys working on complex international probates, including ones involving Belgium. It was her interest in these that led her to study law. She specialises in private international law.
Before joining Sykes Anderson in 2008, Nicole worked in a large firm of notaires in Paris as a clerc de notaire/notaire stagiaire. Nicole has degrees in both English and French Laws from Kings College London and Université de Paris I – Panthéon-Sorbonne. She has studied French notarial law at postgraduate and professional level. A qualified solicitor she is bilingual in English and French.
