New UK - France Double Tax Treaty signed
The UK Chancellor and the French Finance Minister signed a revised double tax treaty between France and the UK on the 19th June 2008. The treaty will need to go through both parliaments to be ratified and it is most likely to come into effect in 2010. The new treaty will not affect Inheritance tax.
