Chris qualified as a solicitor in 1984. He is a co-founder of Sykes Anderson. Chris deals with:-

• UK commercial and high value residential property often with an international element

• Leasehold enfranchisement, his book on the subject has been published by the Law Society

• Commercial contracts usually connected with property transactions

• Problem solving

Chris works closely with David Anderson on the complex commercial elements of high value property transactions in France, Monaco and Switzerland.

ALAN MASSENHOVE is a solicitor with over 15 years previous qualified experience practicing in corporate, commercial and employment law.

He joined Sykes Anderson LLP as an associate solicitor in September 2008, and was appointed a member (partner) in 2009. In addition to being one of the most senior solicitors within a rapidly expanding Corporate & Commercial Department, he created and heads a highly successful Employment Unit.

His wide range of knowledge and expertise ensures that he can undertake most business related legal work. He has particular experience in share and business sales and purchases, MBOs, corporate restructuring, lending and security, partnership, tenders, franchises, T&Cs and contract negotiation and drafting.

In addition to his legal practice, Alan is a popular lecturer who has presented a great many seminars to local businesses and organisations on a wide range of topical legal subjects.

Alan has a wife and two young children and particularly enjoys travel, classic cars, air shows, and supporting Arsenal FC.

He qualified as a solicitor in 2000 and since then has specialised in residential property law, especially complex leases in Central London.

Prior to joining Sykes Anderson he was head of residential property at a niche Central London Law firm for a number of years.

David also deals with lease extensions, off-plan purchases, buy to let acquisitions and auction purchases. He has experience in acting for offshore buyers and understands the requirements of sophisticated high net worth people.

Away from the office, David enjoys spending time with his young daughter, attending art galleries, watching home renovation programmes, listening to jazz and playing badminton.

Graeme also works closely with Alan Massenhove on commercial transactions including company sales and corporate re-organisations.

Away from work, Graeme's enjoys travelling and is a keen cricketer, playing for his local team. He also enjoys playing football and is an ever-optimistic Arsenal supporter.

Roger qualified as a solicitor in 1980 and gained Higher Rights for civil litigation to become a solicitor-advocate in 2001. He is also an accredited Mediator (2003) and has over 30 years experience in Litigation and Dispute Resolution. He deals with :-

• Property litigation
• Professional negligence claims and is a member of the Professional Negligence Lawyers Association
• Tax litigation
• Claims for breach of contract, negligence and restitution of all magnitudes
• Contested costs issues

Roger joined Sykes Anderson in 2011 and became a partner. He has a degree in English Literature from Queen Mary College University of London and his interests are the gym and music.

Elizabeth is our Practice Manager. She has a diploma in Business Studies and has taught English as a foreign language in Portugal. She is experienced in accounts and all aspects of managing medium sized businesses. She has spent her career in the legal profession with well known law firms and has over 20 years experience in professional practice.

Outside work Elizabeth enjoys spending time with her family going to the theatre, concerts, she enjoys almost all genres of music. Elizabeth is a keen walker and has completed treks to Petra, Macchu Picchu, and Kilimanjaro for The British Heart Foundation and Breast Cancer. She enjoys football and is a Manchester United supporter. She likes reading and is a member of a book club.
